Moving is overwhelming. Many people want assistance in making this transition less stressful. Seniors, especially, can find the moving process very daunting. Our relocation services are tailored to each client.
After an initial, complimentary home visit, a needs assessment is done. An estimate will be prepared to detail all of the services requested. Downsizing is a key component of a successful move with several strategies available. Our goal is to make the moving process as smooth of a transition as possible. This can include any of the following services:
- Downsizing of goods by selling, donation or disposal of unused items and furniture
- Mover referral – estimate, review and recommendation. Supervision of the move is also an option
- Preparation & decluttering of the home for staging and a sale. This includes arranging for minor repairs, painting, cleaning and landscaping/snow removal
- An “Unpack” service is also available to settle the clients into their new home with the least amount of disruption and stress
